Exit polls Leftist to win Mexico City mayorship

MEXICO CITY (AP) – Mexico’s main leftist party appears to have won big in the Mexico City mayor’s race.Miguel Angel Mancera of the Democratic Revolution Party says exit polls favor his victory after voting in the capital ended Sunday.His closest challenger, Beatriz Paredes of the Institutional Revolutionary Party, says none of the exit polls favor her. The conservative National Action Party’s candidate, Isabel Miranda de Wallace, has not commented on the voting.
