RAM receives New ATR 72-600 Aircraft

Marrakech – Moroccan carrier Royal Air Maroc (RAM) received on Thursday a new ATR 72-600 aircraft, bringing to 48 the number of its fleet.The new plane, a sample of which is exhibited by the RAM at the “Marrakech Air Show 2014,” was purchased by RAM Express, a subsidiary air company of RAM. This is the fifth engine by the French-Italian aircraft manufacturer ATR owned by the national air company.It will reinforce the fleet of RAM Express operating domestic and international flights mainly towards Spain and Portugal.The ATR 72-600is a twin-engine turboprop short-haul regional airliner.
